OBITUARY: 
Mrs. Jessie Nora Brown, wife of Erle C. Brown, died in a local hospital Saturday evening following a long illness. 
The daughter of John and Kate Schieman Wienert, Mrs Brown was born in Doon, Iowa, March 20, 1893. She was nine years of age when the family came to Oregon, locating at Rock Creek. In 1909 the family moved to a farm near Airlie and Mrs. Brown lived in that community until 1942 until they moved to the present home in the Beaver Creek community. 
November 9, 1913, Jessie Wienert married Erle D. Brown, who survives her. There are two sons, Norman L. and Wendell E. Brown, both of Corvallis, and twin daughters, Ann Marlene and Van Marline, at home. Mrs. Brown is also survived by four grandchildren; four brothers, William Wienert, Toledo; Julius, of Bandon; John, of Salem, and Alfred, with the United States navy, and three sisters, Mrs. Laura Hadley, Seattle; Mrs. Hulda Worthylake, Toledo, and Mrs. Katherine Butler, San Luis Obispo, California. The funeral service is to be held at 11 o’clock Wednesday morning in the chapel of the Keeney Funeral Home, with Rev E.B. Hart officiating. Interment will be in New English cemetery near Monmouth.
