OBITUARY:
Funeral services were held at 10:00 o’clock Sunday at the Airlie church for Martha Belle Nendel, 78, of that community. She passed away April 1. Burial was in the old English cemetery at Airlie, in charge of Henkle & Bollman of Dallas. Mrs. Nendel was born January 30, 1860, at Tumway, Iowa, and had resided near Airlie for 39 years. She is survived by her husband, J.C. Nendel, two sons, Charles of Route 2, Monmouth, and Henry of Summit and one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Scott of Summit. There are 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
