OBITUARY: 
Ralph Hoover, 74, Monmouth farmer, died suddenly at his home Saturday afternoon of a heart attack. Services were Tuesday afternoon at the Bollman Funeral Chapel with Rev A.L. Lonsberry of Dallas officiating. Burial was in Lewwisville cemetery. Mr Hoover was born Feb 19, 1886, in Cambria county, Pennsylvania. He married Mildred Osborn at Dallas Sept 30, 1937. The couple lived at Bellfountain from 1943 to 1951, when they moved to the Polk county farm. Surviving are the wife, one son, Russell Hoover, Isaquash, Wash, and three daughters, Mrs Jake Longfellow, Seattle, Mrs Harry Brown, Wenatchee, and Mrs John Dickinson, Renton, Wash.

Ralph Hoover, aged 74, passed away in his sleep at his home of Route 1 Monmouth late Saturday, oct 1 apparently from a heart attack. Mr Hoover was born in Cambria Co, Penn, Feb 19, 1886. He moved to Colville, Wash in 1908 and was married to Mary Sexton. They had four children. He has lived at Garbaldi and Bellfountain. In 1937 he married Mildred Osborne at Dallas. They moved to farm on Fairview road in May 1951. He leaves besides his wife, the four children, Russell Hoover, Isaquash, Wash, Mrs Jake Longfellow, Seattle, Wash, Mrs Harry Brown, Wenatchee, Wash., and Mrs John Dikson, Renton, Wash. Funeral services were held at the Bollman funeral home in Dallas Tuesday at 2 o’clock with interment at the Monmouth cemetery [Smith]. Rev A.L. Lonsberry officiated.
