OBITUARY: 

Corvallis – Douglas Joseph Willson, 80, of 2753 NW Highland Drive, died Thursday in a local nursing home. Born near Gardner, Willson at age five moved with his family to Independence and later to Northwest Washington. He was a veteran of World War I, former lighthouse keeper at Tillamook Rock lighthouse and a longtime employee of Greyhound Corp until retirement in 1957. He resided in Corvallis 34 years. He was a member of Corvallis Lodge 14 AF&AM, past master of American Legion 11, past commander Knights of Pythias, Mountainview Grange, and for 10 years Dad supervisor of the local De Molay chapter. Surviving are daughter Mrs Robert Zeller of Portland, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 pm Monday at Good Samaritan Episcopal Church, Rev Charles Neville officiating. Ritualistic services will be conducted by AF&AM with graveside services and interment 4 pm at Smith Cemetery in Monmouth. DeMoss-Durdan mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
